Till understands sound as a spatial narrative element regardless of the playback format – from mono to Dolby Atmos. His work translates images and dramaturgy into clearly designed acoustic spaces and translates conceptual ideas into audiovisual productions with a lasting effect.
His background combines musical training, many years of experience in demanding studio and production environments and a strong background in electronic music. After an early career in theater and a Master’s degree in Audio Design at the Basel Music Academy, Till worked in various studio and agency contexts on commercial and cultural projects. His focus is on sound design and music production as well as spatial conception, with extensive experience in the field of advertising sound. He accompanies productions from the conceptual idea through recording and design to the final mix and works closely with directors and producers. Clarity, a pronounced sense of space and a great love of experimentation characterize his signature. A broad-based background enables him to take a differentiated and innovative approach to complex audio and music productions.
