Michael Trettner learned his craft at the Fernseh Akademie Mitteldeutschland in Leipzig and developed a keen sense of light, composition and movement early on. In film productions, advertising formats and live streams, he combines visual storytelling with technical precision to ensure that images remain calm, clear and constant even under demanding conditions. Thanks to his additional training as a media designer for image and sound, he thinks along with the entire production process, from preparation to post-production. He uses this broad understanding to efficiently implement visual concepts and create a structure on set that gives everyone involved a sense of security. He has worked for agencies such as Werbekontor Basel and has worked on national campaigns, including productions for TopPharm pharmacies under the direction of Philipp Steiner. Based in the Basel region, he supports regional and international projects with the aim of translating content precisely and giving it a visual language that sticks in the mind.
