Joel Hostettler works pragmatically, straightforwardly and with a high standard of impact. In marketing, he sharpens positioning, messages and content so that OSLO STUDIOS is effectively positioned as a brand. In customer productions, he realizes audio and video cleanly, from the concept to the final cut and mix. His strategic understanding of marketing also shapes the production: he thinks from the goal, prioritizes clearly and ensures that every decision serves the result.
He joined OSLO STUDIOS after completing his audio engineering diploma at the SAE Institute in Zurich. He then continued to develop his skills in visual production, communication and marketing before returning with a broader perspective and more responsibility.
At the same time, he runs KYBERNETIK.LAB, a high-end mastering studio with a clear focus on electronic music. As the world’s first studio with a fully integrated Lambda Labs QX3 system, it is designed for precise reference monitoring.
His work also extends to cultural formats: Together with Dr. phil. Barbara Piatti, he has realized several radio play and audio guide projects in which atmosphere, voice and spatial sound are central. This is complemented by numerous productions at the interface of brand and experience, from content for campaigns to formats that combine audio, image and event communication into a coherent whole.
