The sound studios consist of two fully equipped control rooms and several acoustically optimized recording rooms. All rooms are directly connected and designed for parallel work.
Rent a Sound StudioDolby Atmos Cinema Studio
STUDIO 1 is the central cinema mixing studio of OSLO STUDIOS. The room is fully Dolby Atmos Cinema certified. The acoustics, loudspeaker arrangement and monitoring situation were planned, measured and approved by Dolby on site. The room is designed for productions with long-term use and is suitable for film sound, immersive media formats and sophisticated multi-channel productions.
The monitoring situation corresponds to a cinema reference standard and allows precise decisions to be made about spatial imaging, dynamics and balance. STUDIO 1 is not a flexible projection room, but a stable working space for concentrated mixing over longer periods of time.

Dolby Atmos (Home) Studio
STUDIO 2 is designed for Dolby Atmos Home and was also planned and approved according to Dolby specifications. The official Home certification is no longer awarded, but the technical implementation still meets the relevant standards. The room is precisely tuned and is suitable for music productions, multi-channel formats and modern media applications.
Compared to STUDIO 1, STUDIO 2 is more compact and more focused on musical work. The room enables detailed mixes, especially for music, Atmos music and hybrid audio formats.

Live Room & Booths
The recording rooms at OSLO STUDIOS are designed as a coherent system. Live rooms and booths are acoustically planned, modularly usable and directly connected to the control rooms. This allows different setups to be combined efficiently, from individual recordings to complex sessions with several rooms.
The Live Room offers 150 m² of space for acoustic instruments, ensembles, bands and larger recording situations. The room-in-room construction ensures isolation from the outside, while the acoustic tuning enables a balanced, natural reverberation. A modular soundproof wall allows the room to be flexibly subdivided or acoustically adapted. A stationary Yamaha grand piano is available for recordings.
The booths complement the live room with controlled, dry recording spaces for vocals, speech and individual instruments. They are suitable for precise takes, overdubs or parallel work during a session. The direct connection to the control rooms enables quick changes and efficient workflows.
